At present, there are many kinds of experimental systems for quantum information, but most of them are very expensive and cannot be actually deployed for undergraduate students to conduct teaching experiments. Therefore, the course makes full use of the tools and methods brought by the development of computer technology in the experimental design, adopts the method of combining virtual simulation and physical to solve the problem of shortage of teaching experiment resources, and strikes a balance between teaching effect and teaching cost as much as possible.
In view of the experiment of entanglement and other physical characteristics and device operation, we carry out one-to-one modeling according to the real physical device, and try to be close to the actual device in the physical characteristics and control mode. By building a 3D virtual simulation platform, students can operate the 3D simulation software similar to the real quantum optical experimental system, and actually understand the basic content of quantum information from the preparation of entanglement source to Bell inequality measurement, which is also one of the core contents of quantum system and experiment. This will make students have a direct and vivid perceptual knowledge of the system.
The technical means of course simulation effectively overcome the problems of insufficient teaching resources and high material cost, and through the combination of virtual and real, actual operation and visiting demonstration, the contradiction between experimental effect and experimental investment is effectively solved.
